Hello everyone! My name is Hanan Ahlam and I am Lebanese. From a very young age I have lived and breathed Baladi dance in all its styles and guises. This art form has been both home and identity as my family and I roamed the earth’s continents. After many years of travelling, I finally decided to call Australia home and in 2005, I established Ahlam Belly dance in a bid to dispel many of the stereotypes, which surround Middle Eastern dance and culture.
